MINIBUS HIRE
If you are thinking of hiring the minibus during the summer, we urge you to book as soon as possible as it is proving very popular. You require a Milton Keynes Council county licence or Midas equivalent in order to drive the bus. If you do not have either of these we can arrange for you to take the MKC test at a cost of £25 which includes use of the vehicle for the test and for a practice hour beforehand.
In order to undertake the minibus County Driving Test you need to have passed your driving test before the 31st December 1996.
Please contact Norman Cummings for more information or test booking form.
All drivers who passed their driving test after 31st December 1996
The D1 entitlement was removed from all licences from 1st January 1997. To have a D1 entitlement attached to your licence you need to have held a full licence for four years from the date you passed your driving test. You will need to contact DVLA to get the forms to have this entitlement added to your licence. Once you have this entitlement you may then apply to take the MK Council County Driving Test.
Please note: MKCVYS does not permit anyone under the age of 25 to drive the minibus.
